Overview

The BIM Manager will oversee all BIM processes, ensuring that project teams maintain high standards of accuracy, coordination, and efficiency. This role involves leading BIM workflows across multiple projects, guiding design and technical teams, and implementing best practices to support seamless project delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of space planning, furniture layouts, and interior configurations to ensure optimal functionality, flow, and aesthetics in line with the project brief.
  • Present design concepts, design development stages, and progress updates to clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Select, specify, and coordinate materials, finishes, furniture, and furnishings that support the approved design concept, quality standards, and budget requirements.
  • Assist the Design Manager in preparing and managing project cost sheets (private residential projects) and ensure adherence to approved budgets through effective value engineering.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams, including providing accurate information to the 3D Visualization team for visuals and animations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution, ensure compliance with the design intent, and assist in resolving construction-stage issues or discrepancies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on design-related matters, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage Interior Designers and Junior Interior Designers by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring design quality and project deadlines are met.
  • Review, approve, and manage design drawings, documentation, meeting minutes, and file management in line with company quality processes and standards.
  • Drive creative development through continuous research into design trends, materials, and furnishings, contributing to innovative and high-quality design outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience managing BIM workflows and processes across multiple interior, residential, or hospitality projects

• Strong expertise in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) and model coordination

• Ability to lead, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary design and technical teams, including Interior Designers and Junior Designers

• Skilled in developing and reviewing space planning, furniture layouts, interior configurations, and ensuring design intent is maintained in BIM models

• Experience in coordinating with vendors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to integrate accurate BIM information for visualization and documentation

• Strong knowledge of clash detection, model accuracy, and design coordination across consultants and contractors

• Ability to implement and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to support efficient project delivery, design quality, and adherence to budgets
