Overview

The FF&E Specialist will be responsible for developing FF&E concepts, selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment, and supporting the design team throughout all project stages. The role involves close coordination with interior designers, suppliers, and 3D visualization teams to ensure FF&E selections are accurately represented, documented, and delivered in line with approved design intent and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

FF&E Design & Coordination

• Prepare and develop material boards for client presentations and approvals
• Assist the 3D visualization team by providing all required information for visuals and animations
• Prepare design presentations, reports, and other design-related documentation
• Design custom furniture pieces and collaborate with manufacturers for prototyping and production
• Coordinate with fabricators to develop unique and high-quality FF&E items
• Oversee FF&E installation to ensure correct placement and styling in line with design intent
• Conduct quality checks on delivered items and address discrepancies or defects
• Work closely with contractors and installers to resolve on-site challenges
• Assist in maintaining the company’s FF&E and material library, ensuring it is updated, organized, and clean
• Correct errors or inconsistencies in drawings and FF&E schedules
• Review shop drawings to ensure annotations align with approved FF&E schedules
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and suppliers
• Participate in conferences, industry events, and design competitions as required
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and FF&E innovations • Contribute to the development of internal design standards and best practices

Job Requirements

• Strong understanding of FF&E design, selection, and specification for interiors
  
• Ability to prepare material boards, design presentations, and client documentation
  
• Experience coordinating with interior designers, 3D visualization teams, contractors, and suppliers
  
• Ability to oversee FF&E installation, quality checks, and ensure alignment with design intent
