Overview
The Head of Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing the studio’s business growth strategy, identifying new opportunities, and building long-term relationships with key clients and partners. The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership and design teams to ensure business development initiatives align with the studio’s creative vision, capabilities, and delivery standards. The position requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the interior design and architecture industry.
Job 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with developers, brands, private clients, and key industry stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and strategic growth areas across global markets.
- Lead proposals, pitches, tenders, and client presentations, ensuring alignment with the studio’s design vision and capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with design teams to translate client requirements into high-quality, commercially viable project solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans, targets, and KPIs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new business enquiries, managing client expectations from initial engagement through project onboarding.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and client feedback reviews to inform business strategy and decision-making.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure proposals, budgets, and deliverables meet client requirements and deadlines.
- Represent the studio at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
- Lead, mentor, and support the business development team to achieve performance objectives and long-term growth.
Job Requirements
- Strong ability to drive business growth and develop strategic partnerships within the interior design and architecture industry
- Proven track record in building and maintaining long-term relationships with developers, brands, and high-value clients
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to identify market opportunities, trends, and growth areas across global markets
- Strong experience leading proposals, pitches, tenders, and client presentations at a senior level
- Ability to collaborate closely with design and leadership teams to align business strategy with creative vision
- Strong leadership and people management skills to mentor and motivate business development teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across international markets
