Overview

A leading global consultancy is on the lookout for a Head of Masterplanning to shape iconic urban design, masterplanning, and large-scale mixed-use developments across Asia and the Middle East. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced masterplanner who can combine strong design vision with strategic thinking, client leadership, and business growth.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

→ Set, lead, and articulate the masterplanning vision across regional and international projects

→ Oversee large-scale urban design, mixed-use, hospitality, and infrastructure-led developments

→ Act as a senior client partner, leading high-level stakeholder engagement and presentations

→ Provide design leadership from concept through delivery, ensuring quality and consistency

→ Mentor, guide, and inspire multidisciplinary teams, fostering design excellence and innovation

→ Collaborate closely with architects, planners, engineers, and external consultants

→ Drive business development, bids, and proposals, supporting the growth of the practice

→ Strengthen long-term client relationships and expand the consultancy’s regional footprint

→ Contribute to strategic planning, market positioning, and thought leadership

→ Represent the practice at industry events, conferences, and public forums

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

→ Proven leadership experience within a global consultancy or design-led practice

→ Strong portfolio of mixed-use, hospitality, and large-scale development projects

→ Demonstrated ability to lead clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams

→ Experience working across Asia and/or the Middle East markets preferred

→ Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills

→ Strong commercial awareness with experience in business development and winning work

→ Strategic mindset with the ability to balance design excellence and delivery

→ Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required
